Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and fuelhaulers.live ("we," "us") for your use of the website at fuelhaulers.live and any fuelhaulers.live mobile app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Safety first: never use this Service while driving. Federal rules prohibit commercial drivers from using a handheld phone while driving. Only post or read when you are safely parked or stopped.

1. Who can use fuelhaulers.live

You must be at least 18 years old. The Service is for commercial fuel haulers and people who work in the fuel hauling industry. When you sign up, you'll be asked whether you're a driver, dispatcher, manager or supervisor, or other industry worker. Please answer honestly. Rack reports, scale reports, and company reviews are limited to drivers, and dispatchers and managers are labeled as such. We may change your listed role, turn off your ability to post, or remove any account at our discretion. You agree to give accurate information when you sign up and to keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

Other members can see your profile, including your display name, profile photo, role, employer, home area, and endorsements (if you add them), and whether you're currently online. Don't put anything in your profile you don't want other members to see.

2. Community Rules

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to post or do any of the following:

Harassment, bullying, threats, or encouraging violence against anyone.
Hate speech or attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
Sexual or pornographic content, or graphic violence.
Personal information about other people (home addresses, phone numbers, license numbers, and the like), or photos of people posted to embarrass or target them.
In company reviews: naming or attacking individual people such as dispatchers, managers, or coworkers. Keep reviews about the company.
In City Chat and anywhere else you share pictures, memes, or links: anything that breaks these rules, links to malware or scam sites, or photos, videos, or other material you don't have the right to share.
False or made-up rack or scale reports, fake reviews, reviews of a company by someone who manages or owns it, or choosing the wrong role to get around these rules.
Spam, scams, or advertising that isn't allowed by us.
Anything illegal, including helping others avoid law enforcement or safety rules.
Impersonating another person or company, or trying to access accounts or data that aren't yours.

You can report any post, message, review, job, or rack report, and you can block members whose messages you don't want to see. Please report only things that break these rules, not things you simply disagree with. We review reports and act on them, usually within 24 hours, by removing the content and, where appropriate, removing the user who posted it.

Community flags: if several established members report the same content, it may be hidden automatically until an admin reviews it. If many members report the same person, that person's ability to post may be paused automatically until an admin reviews it. Rack reports that several drivers mark as "not accurate" are labeled as disputed. An admin makes the final decision, and misusing the report button to target someone is itself against these rules.

3. Your content

You own what you post. By posting it, you give fuelhaulers.live a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, copy, and share it as part of running and promoting the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies others have already shared or copies kept in backups for a limited time.

You're responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to post it, including any photos. Company reviews are your honest opinion based on your own experience. We may remove or edit the display of any content, or suspend or remove any account, at any time and for any reason, including breaking these Terms.

Copyright complaints: if you believe something on the Service uses your photo, video, or other work without permission, email support@fuelhaulers.live with a link to the content, a description of your work, and your contact information. We'll review it and remove the content if appropriate. Members who repeatedly post other people's work without permission may lose their accounts.

4. Information on the Service

Rack reports, scale reports, reviews, job posts, and other content come from drivers and other users, not from terminals, carriers, government agencies, or us. Scale open/closed reports are not official and may not match what you find at the scale. We don't verify them, and conditions change quickly. Information may be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Use your own judgment, follow your dispatcher and company rules, and follow all traffic and safety laws. Terminal names and addresses come from public records and may not reflect current operations.

Some job posts are listed by users, and some are brought in automatically from outside job sites and search partners (such as Adzuna). When you apply to an imported job, you may be sent to another website with its own terms and privacy policy. We don't employ drivers, don't check employers or job details, and aren't part of any hiring decision.

5. Memorial tributes

Tributes are reviewed by an admin before they appear. Please post only with care and respect for the driver's family. If you're family of someone honored here and want a tribute changed or removed, email us and we'll take care of it.

6. Ads and sponsors

The Service may show ads and sponsored listings, including ads served by third parties such as Google. How those ads use cookies and data is explained in our Privacy Policy. We aren't responsible for products or services offered by advertisers or other websites you visit through links on the Service.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Me page. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we stop offering the Service.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don't promise the Service will always be available, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, FUELHAULERS.LIVE AND ITS OWNER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, WAGES, OR TIME, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON ANY CONTENT ON IT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

10. Your responsibility to us

You agree to cover any claims, losses, or costs (including reasonable attorney's fees) that come from your content or your breaking these Terms.

11. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas, and you agree to that location.

12. Apple and Google app stores

If you use the Service through an app downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these Terms are between you and fuelhaulers.live, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google aren't responsible for the app or its content and have no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you aren't located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and aren't on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, post a notice on the site. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the new Terms.
